The gist of the post was that:
1. You can't turn derby into a chore. You have to keep it fun, and you have to do it because you love it.
2. A team is built not just on skill but on friendship.
And if you are reading this blog, join derby! Cause it is totally rewarding. It challenges your body, who you are as a person, and helps you overcome so many fears. And do it fast, before the movie comes out and you become just an Ellen Page wannabe, hee hee. Just kidding. Come out any time.
